CHRIS TEMPLE & TOM WOODBURN TAKE 4TH IN CLASS

The Bentley Boys are back and are going to be starting at the 12hours of Bathurst race with new driver Oliver Jarvis but more importantly a new seat. Yes our man Dan has made his way over to the M-Sport factory to fit the number 7 Bentley Continental GT3 car with a BSCI Lightweight Seat Insert.

Drivers Jarvis, Smith and Kane where set on using the same insert to optimise pit-stops. It was certainly a challenge to make all three drivers, which have very different body shapes and size, happy with one insert that provided maximum support, comfort and safety but we got it done.

Evidently the BSCI Lightweight Seat Insert is quickly becoming the first choice for racing drivers alike, especially in endurance championships. The BSCI seat offers durable comfort so the driver can focus 100% in the task in hand, maximising endurance speed and one lap speed. However, although comfort is important it is safety which is the key factor with this product. The BSCI engineers have been working tirelessly to make sure the foam seat offers the best protection and performance. The nature of the foam allows the seat to have impact absorption properties whilst providing more strength and the perfect fit in comparison to other moulded seats.

Oliver Jarvis is a welcomed edition to the team with his impressive career that includes nine years as a works team driver in LMP1 and DTM. With the combined experience between Smith, Jarvis and Kane, M-sport certainly have a winning formula for the up and coming season. All three drivers left the seat fit yesterday very happy, and with an insert in which they can extract the absolute limits of the car’s potential. We will continue to watch them with interest and wish the team the best of luck with season ahead.
