As always, we are going to kick the new year off by attending ASI 2020, which has firmly established itself as Europe’s largest motorsport exhibition. Alongside ASI the 2020 Performance and Tuning Car Show will be running, featuring a wide variety of modified vehicles on display, as well as more than 600 companies from the motorsport and performance industry.
OHP will be exhibiting for the full 4 days of the show and you will be able to find us in Hall 2, stand 2785. The first two days of the show, Thursday 9th and Friday 10th, will be trade only days. This will provide us and all the other industry professionals with countless networking opportunities, time to catch up with existing customers and explore new areas of development and acquire new customers. Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th will be the public days of the show and the doors will be opened for all motorsport enthusiasts to see the latest industry trends, the fastest racing cars and an array of modified performance cars.
At our stand you will be able to find the full range of brands in our portfolio:
- Red Line Synthetic Oil
- VP Racing Fuels
- Heatshield Products
- AMSOIL
- Gold Plug
- BSCI Energy Impact Systems
- Mechanix Wear
- IMPAXX
Featured on our stand you will find the latest and newest high-performance products of the brands that we represent, as well as their already established bestsellers. News, updates, project builds, motorsport announcements and technical information will also be available for everyone interested.
The show itself is a must-attend for all motorsport and tuning enthusiasts and industry professionals and features every level of motor racing. ASI 2020 will feature several panels including: ASI Engineering, The Performance and Tuning Show, Live Interview Stage and for the first time this year the Red Revving Carpet. Furthermore, Autosport International 2020 will include a number motorsport themed areas: Formula 1, WRC, BTCC, Iconic Racecars and Historic Racing, which will provide visitors the ability to see the newest racing cars from the different championships as well as a few of the racing drivers.
The 2020 show will be a special event because it will be the 30th so far. In the same time, it will be 70 years of the first ever Formula 1 Grand Prix in 1950 which was held in Britain. Furthermore, Autosport was first published the same year – 1950. Those are a few of the reasons why ASI 2020 will be a very special event, it will be one big triple birthday party.
To celebrate the 70th anniversary of F1, the show will display a range of iconic race cars from these past seven decades. These will include the Jaguar C-Type, Maserati 250F, Lotus 49, Porsche 917 and from a more modern day: the Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid, a car that when first introduced won 16 of the 19 races in the 2015 season.
As abovementioned, ASI 2020 will hold the first ever Red Revving Carpet. In brief, this will have on display the ultimate modified car from all around Europe, as chosen by a public vote a month or so before the show.
Lastly, the show will begin a conversation about the future of motorsport. On the 70th anniversary of F1, #Autosport2090 will be introduced. A discussion on how we can expect the car, driver and circuit to develop by the time Autosport and F1 are celebrating another 70 years.
It will definitely be the best Autosport International show so far, so do yourself a favour and buy a TICKET ASAP in order to secure your entry to the show with the most iconic racing cars, motorsport teams and aftermarket performance brands on the calendar.
