Cool Foil Tape™ is a lightweight & insulating thermal foil tape that reflects radiant heat away from wires, lines, cables and more on your car, 4x4, motorcycle or just about anything. This tape is an excellent way to insulate components without disassembly, or be used as a means to finish off other forms of thermal insulation to prevent fraying. Cool Foil Tape™ is very economical compared to other forms of heat protective aluminum tape, and it cuts easily and has a self-adhesive backing that sticks to most clean surfaces. Cool Foil Tape™ withstands 538°C of continuous radiant heat and up to 204°C direct contact.

  • Cuts easily with heavy scissors or utility knife
  • Cool Foil Tape is intended to be applied on the cold side of panel or component, i.e. it is not intended to direct contact with heat source
  • Panel or component surface temperature should be at least 18°C, sticking onto anything colder may not allow adhesive to set up properly.
  • Degrease and clean surface any residual dirt, grease, or chemicals, use carburettor spray or other cleaner/degreaser.
  • We strongly recommend rubbing the surface with a pre-paint cleaner or isopropyl alcohol (or other non-residue cleaner) after cleaning and degreasing.
  • Carefully peel the adhesive backing off the Cool Foil Tape stick and go!
